No Walls
Very short pop-up expo in giant industrial former bagage hall, Loods 6, initiated by Rademakers Gallery to take action for art in Corona Times.
This is the first exhibition in which Pien Rademakers represents my work. Three sculptures from the Stringendo series are on show and four brand new ones from the Entanglement series.
The new series is reflecting on both the drama and the joy of human life on earth in the Anthropocene.
The sculptures fuse the vulnerability of adolescent humans with that of naked trees. By merging carefully the dissimilar parts I hope to find a new balance in my head and I do hope they will make it together in the end as both nature and culture are so exposed and fragile.
